The session was voted into the GRAMMY Hall of Fame in 2007 and was added to the Library of Congress’ National Recording Registry’s list of “culturally, historically, or aesthetically important” American recordings.\nThe album includes a definitive version of the Peanuts theme song “Linus and Lucy” and a pair of originals now considered Christmas standards, “Christmas Time Is Here” and “Skating,” as well as new arrangements of classic holiday songs “O Tannenbaum” and “What Child is This,” among others.\nA San Francisco native who is best known as part of Marcus Shelby’s Jazz Orchestra and a creative force on the San Francisco jazz scene for more than a decade, Adam Shulman studied music at UC Santa Cruz and soaked up bandstand wisdom from the late, beloved piano master Smith Dobson and work with Stefon Harris, Miguel Zenón, Luciana Souza, Paula West, Larry Coryell, and Bobby Hutcherson.
