Jack Brooks Vineyard

Jack Brooks Vineyard
PO Box 738

Jack Brooks Vineyard started with an excellent inaugural vintage in 2005. Since the intial release of the Jack Brooks Vineyard 2005 Cabernet, the wines continue to mature. The vineyard is situated in the Calistoga AVA on rocky alluvial soil at the foot of Mt. St. Helena, 1.5 miles north of the town of Calistoga. Planted in 2000 to carefully selected clones of Cabernet Sauvignon, the vineyard is “dry farmed”. While this approach reduces overall yield, dry farming produces intense, concentrated flavors in the fruit and the resulting wine. Jack Brooks Vineyard only produce wines from grapes grown in the vineyard allowing them to control the quality of the wine from the vine to the vineyard to the bottle.
