Poggi Wines is a family-owned, extremely small production Napa Valley vineyard and winery with a singular focus on Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon wines and vineyard site expression.
We craft two distinct Cabernet Sauvignon wines –a Bordeaux style blend from our estate vineyard consisting of 85% Cabernet Sauvignon and a 100% Cabernet Sauvignon made from Diamond Mountain fruit. Both are single-vineyard wines. Annual production is 150 to 200 cases.
Our Napa Valley estate vineyard is located in Calistoga and was planted in 1997. Its potential for producing high quality cabernet fruit was well-established by neighboring vineyards, including the iconic Eisele Vineyard. Similarly, our sourced vineyard on Diamond Mountain has a long-standing history of producing some of the most coveted Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon wines. Winemaking is classic and simple. Each vintage we strive to craft complex, well-balanced wines that are age-worthy but drink well in their youth and reflect their distinct vineyards.
