Tedeschi Family Winery
Eugene Tedeschi purchased his family property in the 1950's on the outskirts of Calistoga. When he purchased it, there were acres of various fruit trees, including apples and persimmons. To savor the beauty, he planted his grapevines between the trees, planting rows of grapes intertwined with the diverse fruit trees. He planted many varietals of grapes, including Cabernet Sauvignon, Zinfandel, and Petite Sirah.
At Tedeschi Family Winery, they do things the old fashioned way: From harvesting specially selected, hand-tended vineyards to extended cellaring in oak barrels, no shortcuts are ever taken.
Total production is around 2,000 cases including an estate, dry-farmed, Cabernet Sauvingon, Merlot, Pinot Noir, Petite Sirah, dry Rosé, Chardonnay and a very limited production Late Harvest Sauvignon Blanc.
