Now showing at the Sharpsteen Museum is the retrospective “Earl Thollander, Recording Life Through Art”. During his career Earl Thollander illustrated over 62 children’s cooking and travel books and produced at least 60 one-man shows. This tireless productivity and focus are a tribute to his insatiable curiosity, love of learning, life and the recording of it through his art.

It would be impossible to show every piece of his work, but the current exhibit gives a sampling of the life and art. Hosted by his family, wife Janet, children Wes (Lauren) and Kristie, visitors will have the opportunity to walk in his shoes and experience his life one piece at a time.

The retrospective will be on view at the museum from October 15, 2021-April 30, 2022. 12-3pm.
