Join us at our annual Farm-to-Table Farm Dinner held at the glorious CIA at Greystone Herb Terrace. Presented by CIA students in our farm-to-table and advanced wine, beverage, and hospitality concentrations, the Farm Dinner is an amazing celebration of community and the importance of local food systems.
This year’s theme is “The Rhythm of Life.” It is an interactive event that explores the life cycle of plants and animals. Each course will be paired with music selected to spark your imagination.
Not only will you enjoy a thoughtfully curated dinner, you’ll hear firsthand from, and dine alongside, some of California’s finest farmers, purveyors, and producers as they showcase all the wonders of the Bay Area.
Our Farm-to-Table concentration students spend a semester at our Greystone campus and throughout the Napa Valley learning about food, sustainability, and traditional farming practices on the CIA’s Student Farm at Charles Krug Winery and with our farming partners. Students in the Advanced Wine, Beverage, and Hospitality concentration spend the semester learning the principles of pairing wine and beverages with food as well as exploring model business practices of successful beverage and hospitality service programs.
Note: This will not be a vegetarian dinner. Minimal substitutions will be made for allergies only.
