On New Year’s Eve at Dr. Wilkinson’s House of Better restaurant, the bar will stay open until 12:30 a.m. so visitors and guests can ensure to have a glass in hand to toast the new year. Bottles of sparkling wine from local producers will be available for $30.
House of Better’s regular dinner menu will be available until 9 p.m. and the restaurants signature Wood Fired Oven will be lit and turning out fire-kissed dishes until 11 p.m. with delicious Flatbreads and Skillet Oaxaca Queso Blanco as well as new seasonal items including Fennel, Apple & Camembert and Toasted hemp hearts, with carmelized onions, Arugula & Spicy Italian Sausage Flatbreads. Fresh-baked pies from Chile Pies Baking Co., which House of Better is known for, will be available by the slice as well as entire pies to take home to share with the whole family.
On New Year’s Day, House of Better will be offering a special brunch menu from 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. pouring Pineapple & Lemon Mimosas with Mint & Cayenne, House-made Bloody Mary and a Wellness Drink Menu full of non-alcoholic tonics and kombucha to get you off on the right foot in the New Year and help detox from the night before. House of Better’s Special Wood Fired Oven will be going from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. with exclusive flatbreads just for the holiday including Smoked Salmon + Creme Fraiche and Oaxaca cheese with capers, pickled onion, and fresh dill.
And there will be lots of pie!
