Holidays in Calistoga
December 4-6 & 11-13, 2020

2020 is not going to be a bah humbug holiday season in Calistoga! We just won’t allow COVID to be this year’s Scrooge so Visit Calistoga has put together a calendar of holiday fun that is safe, festive, merry and bright!

Join us the weekends of December 4-6 and 11-13 for extended shopping and tasting room hours, festive dishes and cocktails throughout Calistoga. We bet that a slice of pie from Dr. Wilkinson’s Backyard Resort & Mineral Springs House of Better restaurant or a Poinsettia mimosa at Lovina will have you singing Santa Claus is Coming to Town in record time! Cozy up for dinner on the patio and enjoy a special bottle at Evangeline-they are offering 20% off all bottles for this special occasion.

Our friends at Romeo Vineyards & Cellars have put together a Mulled Wine & Gingerbread Pairing for $10 the weekend of December 4-6th , Tom Eddy Winery is offering a 2 for 1 tastingFridays only that will include a complimentary tasting of Z Port ($75 value) and homemade chocolate chip cookies (priceless) to accompany your tasting of 4 different whites and reds for parties up to 6 persons. Available at 10:30am or 2:30pm ONLY on Friday, December 4th and 11th. Email info@tomeddywinery.com directly to reserve your spot! Clos Pegase Winery is also offering a 2 for 1 tasting these two weekends. Just make sure you mention that Visit Calistoga sent you when you reserve!

Up until Saturday, December 22, help the less fortunate and support the Calistoga Firefighters Toy Drive by bringing an unwrapped toy to the Fire House at 1133 Washington Street. Contribute to the Holiday Food Drive and support a family in need. Non-perishable food items will be accepted at NextHome in the Valley at 1437 Lincoln Avenue all throughout the holiday season.

Want to document your time in Calistoga for the ‘gram? We will have 2 life size frames on Lincoln Avenue to help get the perfect shot. Thanks to our talented builders at Parks & Recreation and decorated by EV Floral Design with artistic additions from CAMi Art + Wine, the frames will be located in front of the Calistoga Depot and the old AT&T building on Lincoln Avenue.

And last but certainly not least, make sure you register for time with Santa Claus, who will be making a special appearance from the North Pole via ZOOM on Saturday, December 12th. Santa and Mrs. Claus will read a story and children will have a chance to share their list and check it twice! 12pm and 4pm appearances. Registration opens December 7th on calistogachamber.com.

Seems to us if you enjoy all these activities, and perhaps also purchase a Winter in the Wineries Passport (program launches December 5th!), you’ll want to enjoy a nice meal and Calistoga wine, perhaps take in the waters or just relax, so why not spend the night or better yet, the weekend? Calistoga has some terrific holiday offers at Calistoga Wine Way Inn and the Craftsman Inn. Spend Friday and Saturday night and Sunday night is on them!  There are also many other specials to consider, take a look here. Fa la la la la, la la la la!

Happy Holidays. We look forward to seeing you in Calistoga!
