The Francis House

The Francis House
1403 Myrtle Street
Introducing Napa Valley's newest small luxury hotel, where contemporary French design and National Register of Historic Places status blend to create 5 unique guest rooms in the heart of downtown Calistoga. French elegance, a creative seasonal breakfast and a magical time awaits.

Featured in Architectural Digest as one of the 15 best-designed hotels opening this year, The Francis House is for the discerning guest who values privacy in an intimate wine country setting. Originally built in 1886, it is the only stone building in Napa County authentic in the French Second Empire architecture. Built as a family home for local merchant James H. Francis, the property was converted to the Calistoga Hospital from 1919-1964 before standing vacant for over 50 years.

Now lovingly and extensively restored by its new owners Dina & Richard Dwyer, The Francis House offers five star hospitality and modern comforts in a unique Old World setting. Our team presents guests a myriad of options and access to curated local experiences for an unforgettable stay.
