From winery offerings to new lodging properties, food stops and a new boutique shop open on Lincoln Avenue, there’s plenty to do during your stay. Below is a list of 6 new summer fun options to explore:

August Briggs Winery lunch on the Wine Terrace is the perfect place to enjoy a wine tasting and boxed lunch prepared by local’s favorite Cal Mart Deli. Pick from a variety of fresh made sandwiches accompanied by a seasonal salad and fresh, organic fruit finished with a house baked cookie. Advance Notice Required.

The Bungalows, a new lodging destination in Calistoga offers three stunning modern Craftsman homes designed and decorated to make you feel like you just stepped into a magazine photo shoot.  High ceilings, spacious living, dining, and kitchen areas allow you to comfortably lounge and relax.

The Francis House is set to open in August as the newest lodging property in Calistoga. This inn blends contemporary French design with a historic property to create five distinctive guest rooms in the heart of downtown.

Mad Mod Shop is the newest shop selling vintage-inspired collections of retro-inspired designs and classic silhouettes for the avid vintage fashion lover. If you’re looking for a timeless collection of flattering pin-up inspired dresses, skirts, tops, swimwear, accessories and lots of other pretty little things, this boutique is one-of-a-kind.

Fairwinds Estate Winery Paint & Sip Party: July 28, August 25, Sept.  15, Oct. 6 (1-3 pm). Sign up for an afternoon of friends, fun, fine wine and painting on the grape-vine terrace overlooking the Mayacamas Mountains.  $45 per person (includes tasting flight & all painting supplies)

Also at Fairwinds Estate Winery: The Art of Wine Tasting & Flower Arrangement – July 14, Aug. 11, Sept. 8, Oct. 13 – 1 pm. Learn the art of wine tasting & flower arranging inside the wine cave. Craft a beautiful centerpiece while enjoying a three-glass wine tasting flight and light snacks. At the end of the afternoon, take home your beautiful arrangement in a stylish vase along with new floral tips and tricks! $90 per person (includes tasting flight & flower arrangement supplies)

Napa Valley Heritage Catering is new on the scene for catering and lunch service, offering locally grown foods that range from the pigs raised by owner, Josh, to vegetables harvested at local farms.
