Calistoga Harvest Table

Calistoga Harvest Table

The third annual Calistoga Harvest Table® event was held on Sunday, Sept. 11, under the harvest moon. In celebration of a plentiful harvest season, 13 local restaurants and 44 wineries welcomed visitors and locals to 1,000 feet of tables in the center of the city’s picturesque downtown. Calistoga AVA wines were available for purchase by glass or bottle, beginning at 4:30pm. Dinner was served at 6:00 pm, beginning with a toast led by famed Chateau Montelena winemaker Bo Barrett in celebration of the Judgment of Paris 40th anniversary. Tickets to the third annual Calistoga Harvest Table® event SOLD OUT within a day on July 18, when they became available for purchase. Visitors who were unable to acquire tickets were welcome to come to Calistoga’s main street to shop, enjoy a glass of wine when the sidewalk wine bars opened at 4:30, and many visitors made reservations at a number of restaurants open for dinner during the event. Below are images of the event, available to order as prints.

NOTE: 10 percent of any print order will be donated to the Calistoga Cares Food Pantry, administered by Community Action Napa Valley (CANV).

During the event, an Instagram contest to showcase your best Calistoga Harvest Table image brought 200 entries of snapshots to depict the happiest of attendees. One winner was selected, and here is the photo, taken by Calistoga’s own Scotti Stark!

There was also a 2nd Chance Contest on our website. Below are the Silver and Bronze Prizewinners.

Silver Prize winner: Tom Thornton of Calistoga, who took a fabulous image of Bosko’s Trattoria tables during Calistoga Harvest Table.

Tom will enjoy a mud bath/massage experience at Baths at Roman Spa!

Bronze winner: Diana Ochoa of Calistoga, whose close and personal table image won her a $100 gift card to Blackbird of Calistoga. Happy shopping!

Thank you to the Judges, who took the time on Monday morning to sift through almost 200 images!
