Lovina’s story includes her legendary bravery, exemplified by shooting a bear 28 times from a walnut tree, a tale that inspired the restaurant’s motto of resilience and resourcefulness, especially through wildfires, power outages, and the COVID-19 pandemic.

Inspired by Lovina’s legacy, Jen established her restaurant with a focus on female empowerment.
