BLACK CATS, WINE & A LITTLE MAGIC: MUSEION WINES & CHATEAU GATO HOSTS HALLOWEEN FUNDRAISER WITH THE JACKSON GALAXY PROJECT

A night of wine, tarot, music, and feline folklore comes to Calistoga, turning Halloween’s most mysterious symbol into a celebration of cats in need.

This Halloween, Museion Wines & Chateau Gato are inviting guests to step into the mystery.

On Friday, October 30, from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m., Museion will transform its Calistoga winery into an evening devoted to the history, mystery, and magic of black cats, with proceeds benefiting the Jackson Galaxy Project, the St. Helena nonprofit formerly known as We Care Animal Rescue.

Located at 865 Silverado Trail N, the Black Cats Halloween Party will bring together wine, music, tarot, costumes, and cats for a fundraiser with a distinctly Napa Valley twist.

Guests will enjoy Museion & Chateau Gato wines, food, tarot readings, and music from DJ Parrot, along with a special appearance by internationally recognized cat behavior expert Jackson Galaxy. Galaxy will speak about the centuries-old mythology and fascination surrounding black cats and share what’s ahead for the Jackson Galaxy Project in St. Helena.

For VIP guests, the evening will continue with a private Jackson Galaxy book signing and meet-and-greet.

But beneath the costumes, wine, and Halloween revelry is a simple purpose: to help cats find better lives and, ultimately, loving homes.

Cats have long occupied a peculiar place in the human imagination, associated with witches, luck, mystery, and superstition. Museion’s event takes that mythology and turns it on its head, celebrating black cats as intelligent, affectionate, and often overlooked companions deserving of a second chance.

This family-friendly event offers tickets for $25 per person. Children under 12 are free with their parents or guardians.

Proceeds from ticket and wine sales will help support The Jackson Galaxy Project.
