Dyana Lovold, owner of Field Trip, has created a one-of-a-kind plant and curiosity shop in downtown Calistoga. Inspired by a love for nature’s mysteries and its darker, more magical side, the shop offers fresh houseplants, dried flowers, crystals, and beautifully crafted natural specimens. Every piece in the store is thoughtfully chosen to tell a story and add character to a space without overwhelming it.
Since opening in June 2022, Dyana has embraced the welcoming spirit of Calistoga, the town she proudly calls home. While many people first notice the beautiful plants, Field Trip also carries a wide range of metaphysical items including crystals, pendulums, smudge sticks, and meditation tools. One of Dyana’s current favorites is the shop’s Travel Altars—portable witch kits designed for rituals and manifestation wherever inspiration strikes.
Field Trip also hosts private workshops for small groups, both in the shop and off-site, covering everything from dried flower arranging and succulent gardens to candle making and tarot readings. Dyana says one of her favorite moments is watching visitors step into the shop for the first time and feel the unique atmosphere she has carefully created
