Day One –
Book a Getaway Adventures bike tour through the quiet and scenic northern Napa Valley. Cycle along famous vineyards and try world renowned Napa wines while enjoying stunning valley views. Your guide will talk about wine facts and local history as you bike the quiet country lanes. You may enjoy a tour, barrel tasting, beautiful art, or food pairing at one of the three to four winery stops. At one scenic stop you will enjoy a delicious Wine Country picnic lunch.
Relax and unwind with a couples’ mud bath and massage at Baths at Roman Spa. Then pass some time relaxing in the geo-thermal pools at Roman Spa Resort.
Return to have a glass of wine and hors d’oeuvres on the patio of your lodging as the sun begins to set.
Stroll into town to enjoy a Four, Five or Six Course Organic Food Tasting with a flight of Calistoga wines.
Enjoy the stars in the sky as you walk back to your room for a treat of decadent sweets and champagne at turndown.
Day Two –
Have a leisurely 3-course breakfast on the outdoor terrace of your B & B. The Chanric Inn has views that display the beautiful the Palisades mountains and surrounding vineyards. The garden patio with fountain and fireplace provide a cozy spot to dine or relax.
Schedule a wine tasting at husband and wife, Laura and Michael Swanton’s Laura Michael Wines. They specialize in handcrafted Zinfandel and Cabernet Sauvignon wines. Let them share their passion for making small production handcrafted California wine. Bring your fresh bread and cheese from the Calistoga deli and enjoy a picnic in the rose garden.
Return to your lodging for an in-room couple’s massage.
Walk to town for an intimate dining experience at a cozy bistro. Pair your food with many of the Calistoga AVA wines you’ve been hearing about.
Day Three –
Sleep in. Dine on the patio overlooking the vineyards at your charming B & B.
Spend the morning relaxing by the pool.
Go for a stroll around downtown. Calistoga has shopping, galleries and wine tasting rooms all on our main street.
Be sure to do stop at the world famous culinary school to pick up those gourmet utensils you’ve been dreaming about. The shopping is unbelievable.
